Whatever species your lawn is, you are responsible for your choice and for maintaining it in a clean and attractive manner. You are responsible for keeping it trimmed, mowed, free of weeds, bugs, and dead spots. If you decide to re-sod your lawn, it is highly recommended you research options to avoid spending more to replace a mistake.

Your current lawn or any approved sod alternative (below) must be kept under six (6) inches tall:
- St. Augustine
- Bahia
- Bermuda
- Zoysia
- Green vegetative ground cover (e.g., jasmine minima)
